I have reenacted the world of Saiyuki in my piece.
This Sonny Angel is supposed to be the monk Sanzo Hoshi while his pig and monkey companions are character designs from the Little Animals series created by the brand Ratako. Since the kappa is a fictional creature, the kappa design of Sanzo Hoshi’s bag is a cute touch.

Born in Osaka. Graduated from the VD2 Course at Kyoto Saga Art College. Completed graduate degree in the Saga University Design Course. After working as an assistant in the Kyoto Saga University Illustration Course, he moved to Tokyo and began working as a freelance artist.
